First let me say how grateful and impressed I am with many of the changes that have been transpiring. For all the ups and downs the net result has been very good. I know a lot of people have put long hours and considerable effort in the minutia of making Imminst a real success. Engineers form the blood and guts of this Institute and without the tireless efforts all of you have made this place would cease to function.
Now, for my proposal: I have noticed many times and many different people, not just myself have accidentally hit the wrong tab for reply/edit/top because the layout puts the control physically in the wrong post from (the one below) a sight-logic perspective.
Could we somehow insert that menu above the post so that it coincides with the posters name?
Oh and that includes the Reply/Delete tabs on the left side as well. The current layout (and the one we have always used, this is not a new issue) lines the controls up with the name of the next poster and this is a formula for confusion and "an accident waiting to happen".
