Does L-Theanine compete for absorption with other amino acids like most amino acids do? Is it better to take it on an empty stomach? Is it better to have green tea on an empty stomach?

Try taking it with a semi-sugary drink, like fruit juice or even just a cup of water with a tablespoon of sugar. Some amino acids test to absorb better with sugar.

In my experience taking it alone works better. A tip for people is to start taking vitamin supplements as soon as possibly before your intestine gets damaged from a defiency thus decreasin absorption uptake
