When I think of inventions like these, I also think of the automation that made possible the revolutionary sequencing of the genome. Because of the tremendous diversity of genetic information, automation is a welcome advancement to allow researchers to cover more ground more quickly.
Hopefully inventions like this will harvest more information for us on stem cell properties, allowing us to exploit them all the more quickly.
