hey, i've just moved over here and was interested in finding a GP with some training in alternative therapies. i googled and found a couple of integrative medicine centers but would rather not pay exorbitant prices to see a doc; my previous doctor, for example, was an integrative medicine GP who worked at a general practice but also had a side-interest in nutritional imbalances, etc... i'm currently in East Melbourne but don't mind travelling

any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Look for doctors who are members of the Australian College of Nutritional & Environmental Medicine (ACNEM). There is a list of members in all States at the web site ACNEM.org. There are plenty in Melbourne.

I hope this isn't a hijack but I will throw my hat in the ring and ask the same question but for a Sydney based GP who is supplement friendly/informed... If they are aware of ImmInst even better! There used to be one in bondi who was listed on this forum, I called up about 6 months ago-the day after he retired! lol
