I have done extensive searching for the best E supplement, and AOR's Total E Max is by far the best available.

Does anybody know where to find this in the US for cheapest?

Thanks.

That's a bit more than 50 cents per day. BUT it has the ENTIRE spectrum of E. Is there any way to buy the individual elements in that pill in bulk?

I don't think I've seen the "accessory" tocopherols e.g. beta, gamma and delta in significant quantities in any dry E preperation* (e.g. acetate or succinate). The few companies that make e complexes of sorts all have it in an oil based gel cap. So you could ask Mike Rizzo or the...1fast400 guy to look into it, but I'd be surprised.

*solaray does make dry e "with mixed tocopherols" but if you call and inquire how much of beta, etc ... are in it, they don't know.

beyond-a-century has tocopherol and tocotrienol that you could mix with basic E to get a full spectrum.

TOCOTRIENOLS 7.5% beadlets from preferred palm oil source. 667mg contains 50mg complex, including 22mg gamma, 5mg delta, and 12mg alpha tocotrienols, and 12mg d-alpha tocopherol (vit E), along with naturally occurring squalene, phytosterols, carotenoids, and a bit of CoQ10. Almost all tocotrienol studies used palm source. These relatives of vit E have been shown to decrease thromboxane (20-26%), platelet aggregation (15-30%), and reduce total and LDL cholesterol over 20% for 75% of those tested. Tocotrienols easily cross blood-brain barrier with strong neuroprotective properties, blocking glutamate-induced cell death. Studies have shown synergistic antioxidant effect of tocotrienols with tocopherols (vit E). Take with *115 Gamma E for full-spectrum vit. E antioxidant protection. However, Vit E interferes with tocotrienol’s ability to lower cholesterol. For extra cholesterol benefit, take with guggul, phytosterols, and/or policosanol. Tocotrienols are also synergistic with antiestrogens. Other powerful antioxidants: *508 lipoic acid, *014 N-acetyl cysteine, *303 OptiZinc, *738 melatonin, and plant derived antioxidants such as green tea, astaxanthin, ginkgo, bilberry, curcumin, rosemary, fruit & herbal antioxidants. 50 grams, $15.50. Code 212.5

GAMMA E. 1130 mg powder contains 340mg total tocopherols, 210mg of which are D-gamma, shown to be the most effective in trapping free radicals; and 154 IU Vit E activity in gum acacia base. Recent study shows those with highest blood levels of gamma E have 5x lower risk for prostate cancer. National Academy of Sciences recommends at least 20% of E supplementation be gamma form. The best form of E for use as a food antioxidant. For best antioxidant protection take with *212 tocotrienols. Contained in *213 LE Booster. 100 grams, $9.75 Code 115.3

RE: beyond a century:

I have had nothing but good luck with the orders I have placed from them (it has been awhile).

However two caveats:

1. Purity: there was a thread somewhere (?avant) where it was stated that BAC will not provide copies of certificates of analysis on materials they sell. This if true would certainly raise questions as to the purity of what you are buying. Given that it is likely they are buying from a cheap source e.g. chinese supplier, purity may very well be a non-trivial issue.

2. There is an issue with the reproducibilty of dosing i.e. the amount of supplement in 1 tsp appears to vary. You'll have to do some digging, but details are here:

http://morelife.org/...is-regimen.html
http://morelife.org/...en_changes.html

3: http://www.ruggedmag...showtopic=6220#

"I am dealing directly with chinese suppliers and still dont understand the prices BAC put up. either they got some secret sources or their profit margin is realy low."

Or their product is suspect.

I am primarily concerned with products that are synthesized in laboratories from inorganic sources coming here from China as health hazards.

I am very busy with school work right now so I cannot comment more.

Take care.

Your welcome Adam, it's rare to be able to provide a source/substance that you are not already aware of, no sarcasm intended.
