That looks good, I would recommend putting in, for one of the articles, an essay really showing the horrors of aging, in body count, etc. This brief intro by Aubrey urging why we should fight aging looks good and very brief. http://www.longevity...ight_aging.cfm. Of course that's on the longevitymeme sight, but Aubrey has posted here.

Activism for Healthy Life Extension, is an old article I wrote with Reason, that really could get anyone angry about aging. http://www.longevity...m?article_id=16

I first posted the essay on imminst, so it's basically imminst's article with some tweaking.

I am curious to find out more about the Conservative/creative clip...is that like juxtaposing Leon Kass type people vs. us?

Corporate video, has to be perfect, with no obvious technical flaws. Must have top visuals with an excellent lighting and sound team.

A really good flier is important, I assume the art team has this pretty much in the bag, and anykind of magazine advertising is great, I have been told it is very expensive relative to the amount of exposure it may bring, but that doesn't necessarily apply to us. Perhaps in the future cable advertising, like Methuselah Foundation is planning on pursuing.

Ok, this is important.

I have been calling production houses in the Boston area. Basically $500 will not work, at I was told that $3000 may be the cheapest, but I have talked to very top of the line houses, that think they can make a great 3 min film for us.

One production house, Kill Switch Productions http://www.killswitch.tv/, seems like an amazing place and they've done Emmy award winning documentaries, top of the line music videos, videos for NESN, Fidelity, etc.

The man I talked to was Ian Mcfuller and he didn't think a corporate video would be useful, claiming we don't seem to have enough to sell, at this point. I didn't get to explain that we've done quite a few projects, fundraisers, research grants for lab work for promising things...but he may be right, as we are still just in preliminary stages here at imminst.

Anyway, he explained a Branded Content video with b-roll footage which is a voice over kind of thing with visuals, graphics, and really anything, laid on top of the voice over.

Said it was very effective tool for getting out a one's message.

Another Production house said they work solely with films already processed. So I was thinking Exploring Life Extension has many technical flaws, all of which he assured could be easily fixed.

My best opinion is fixing Exploring Life Extension, would do wonders for our film, and bring it up to professional quality, as Modul.us Studios say they are great at things like color correction, fixing bad audio, including out of sync dubbing, (which our film DOES have.) He said even boom in mic he could fix.

I know that many of them are going to charge a lot. We can consider paying out for something like that in the near future when we have more money.

For now though we have to shop around and get this made well, with in our budget, which Im confident we can do.

We will come up with something that is simpler to shoot, there are countless possibilities, and or we can probably get this done with istock and a voice over. I know some people with some equipment, down at the university and some other places. We'll put the proposal together and go from there. We still have to get this passed by the board. The length will aim to be in the range of 20 to 50 seconds.

We have a ton to sell here thats right. We have no shortage of importance to sell. What we have to sell is more valuable than anything out there that there is being sold. That is one of our main strengths.

I prefer to propose some good solid medium sized outreach packages like this as we move here, but I cant do it alone. There are a handful of people that I know can and want to help with this, but we cant think about it a little but ultimately forget about these kinds of things.

Your death bed can not and will not conveniently forget about you.

If I have to choose which projects to work on by myself, I have to choose the biggest most directly important and goal driven ones, and so I continue to work out the kinks in the proposal for the much larger 6 point plan.

Teams are in part 5 of the plan, but we still can and want to and do form some teams along the way to help prepare and put in to production more things to help the growth hold strong along the way. This specific marketing package outreach tool will be handled by teams in them self, at that time in the future, at that stage in the plan, but if we can make some of these key things happen now, then we will arrive at these other future goals in a stronger position, and that is very important.
