Criteria- We'll post this some place more official when we get it worked out, but here is the starter list.
-somebody we can get through to about the cause.
-preferably mid range VIP, because big ones are likely to be bombarded with mail and or be too busy or full of themselves, etc... to small of a VIP and it can start to defeat the purpose.
-preferably somebody that has mentioned something related to this cause before, and of course that doesnt have a negative opinion of it. Direct mentions of living forever, or cryonics or something are best, but things like, for example we sent a letter out to Mark Cuban in November because he mentioned his open mindedness to performance enhancing drugs.
-make sure they are not negatively controversial.
-preferably somebody with a high top fade.
-more potential criteria to be added as we go.

This is a loose guideline, but recommended:

First Week- Pick three contacts, look up contact info, and call right away to verify you can reach them through the contact info. I suggest taking suggestions with reasons why now, 5 to 10 of them, then widdle them down on the 6th and 7th. Use the criteria, and remember that the criteria is evolving. You can add to that and discuss that any time too.

Second Week- Craft the letters.

Third Week- Put the final touches on the letters and send them out. Optional: send out an email at this time too.

Fourth Week- This week is a buffer week, for waiting for responses, doing optional potential calls, making sure the books get sent out, preparing for the next month, you could throw in a bonus contact or two during this time if your feeling ambitious.

My first pic will be Jude Law, after seeing him in Closer, and knowing how smart and obviously talented he is, he just strikes me as a guy who is vain enough to want to live much longer, - along with most of Hollywood.

Again, the HUGE problem here is getting the attention with a simple email or letter, that these VIP's simply don't even read. We have to find an in road to their managers, publicists, and agents, and although I keep talking about phoning these people, since we HAVE their info, we don't seem to be doing this as of yet.

We really have to hold another meeting, and we are in need of more volunteers, since we keep losing valuable help to other projects, or some people just don't seem to be interested after a while.

To segue, I really think our society is geared towards the death trance still, and ironically the biggest market, I think, besides scientists, especially in bio-gerontology, is really celebrities, who often have a strong sense of vanity, and high quality life style that they don't want to give up!

So if we could get someone big, like we were hoping with Larry King, we can really make a big dent in the trance.

So please we need you to help this month!

Im going to go with two more sociologist types this month, the bigger the better. If anybody has any suggestions for which in the mean time, before I pick them, then let me know.

I'm not good with brainstorming people who are not obvious, and I don't have time to read and research who's who in science these days, nor am I good at knowing who would perhaps care about our mission, unless we are talking Hollywood, where I shine.

So I wish you well in the Sociology dept, but, I'm being honest, I'm about to give up trying for the big names, unless we get a focused phoning campaign going, like I've been going on about for quite some time.

I would be game to speak on the phone, but I think we should discuss in Skype, sometime this week strategies to do this, and we should practice online as well.

I've been having trouble with my pc, so if Skype isn't working, maybe we can meet in the ustream?

Pm me, or here, and tell me if you have time to discuss...thanks!

Oh, and I think the Outreach all under one heading, is very messy, as there doesn't appear to be any logic to where the threads are, and it looked like they were all mixed up, on first glance.

Dear Mr. Law,

Your exemplary work in such films as The Talented Mr. Ripley, and Closer, make me believe you are not only enormously talented as an actor, but you may be a free thinking type of person, who is open to new and innovative ideas.

In super brief, we are an indefinite lifespan organization called Longecity/imminst.org, and we, along with others, in this rapidly growing field, wish to eradicate the diseases of aging, and ultimately aging itself, in humans.

We are a non-profit org aligned with many other "bio-progressive" orgs, including some that have made news headlines in the past few years. There are now many scientists, who truly believe that slowing, halting, and eventually reversing the aging pathologies in people, is something that definitely can be done. The problem right now is getting the funding, and the lab work in progress to see what we can actually accomplish, in hopes of saving as many lives as possible from the ravages of aging.

We wish to keep our letters brief, because this is something that is much better explained in person, or via email. We cordially invite you to be our guest on our online show Sunday Evening Update. It's all online and lasts for only about an hour.

In the meantime we have sent you a copy of Ending Aging, by the esteemed Bio-geronologist Dr. Aubrey De Grey.

If you are interested, or just would like to learn more, please email me at fowlerdevon@gmail.com or by cell at ...

many thanks!

Devon Fowler

Slow and steady wins the race. We will never get more if we dont keep it up. This has to be here to grow. That means sticking it out even if it takes years. It only takes a few sparks to catch a flame.

Heres some suggestions I collected last week, from my notes:

Susumu Tonegawa contact this nobel laureate in cell and immunity research for vipo
Also Lee Silver at princeton, geneticist quoted as saying he thinks immortality is absolutely possible.

The combined outreach is a bit messy. We can contemplate ways we might fix that.

Phone calls, sure, yes, we could taut this to our team and get them to do that but the team is not here yet. It will grow if we stick it out, I promise you. Call them, by all means call them. Whatever you do though, just dont do nothing for it. As Martin King said, "If you cant fly then run, if you cant run then walk, if you cant walk then crawl, but by all means keep moving forward."
