Is fresh fruit better for you because more nutrients are preserved? I know lot's of the nutrients are lost during shipping for "fresh" fruit. Which is more beneficial?

My take on this paper: Fresh is better, but not that much better. Compared to fresh, frozen berries had 17% less anthocyanins, comparable levels of total flavanols, and 11% reduced ORAC value. Considering the difference in price and convenience, I'm going to continue to use frozen blueberries.

it isn't known whether or not fresh fruit is good for you because every study that examines the benefit uses frozen fruit ;o)
