In the meeting of 3 Nov 2010 it was proposed that the following new Web 2.0 sources be used to promote the Institute further:

1 - Stumbleupon (http://www.stumbleupon.com/) - This is a bookmarking tool like digg and delicious. It is proposed that an account be setup there and the list of articles for the Digg team be added to it and promoted as is done in Digg.

2 - Vodpod (http://vodpod.com) - a Media clip archive, that aggregates video clips from various sources (youtube, daily motion, myspace, hulu and various others) - It is proposed that the Institute have a profile - adding the clips that are already on the youtube channel. (This will be co-ordinated as some of those clips are being reworked).

Any thoughts, comments and / feedback are , as always, appreciated.

Seems like digg is going down in flames. I would instead focus on reddit. Often times a pro life extension link gets a great discussion going, it seems to me at least that there are many people on reddit who are pro life extension/technology there.

Yes, Digg is struggling lately. The new Digg wasnt as well received as expected. Reddit is a good prospect as well.

What do you think of vodpod? (Not as a replacement for the bookmarking, of course, but as an additional to youtube?)
