a. Snail mail and/or phone gain points by posting the name of the person they are sending the letter to, the letter they are sending, and a verification when it is sent. The posts must be made in this topic.

With phone the person must post the name of the person they are going to call, post what they are going to say, and then post what the people on the phone said when they are done.

b. Email gains a person points when they do the same as with snail mail.

minimum= 1 contact
active=3 contacts

This month Ill be contacting either Professor Peter Bishop at the University of Houston, and or the Population Research Institute.

If you want to help the cause and send out some contacts like this too then list who you want to contact here. If you need help with this we can even help you with the process if you would like.

Here is the draft:

Hello Mr. Bishop,

I work with Longecity - Advocacy & Research For Unlimited Lifespans. With the way the world is progressing these days, it should come as no surprise to you that research to end the aging process is underway. We are working to help expedite this because time is of course of the essence. Nobody wants to be amongst the last to die before these breakthroughs arrive. If you support unlimited lifespans then please do join in on the discussions in our forum. If you dont support unlimited lifespans I also encourage you to engage us in friendly debate. Our forum is filled with outreach and research discussions, experts from all walks of life, is highly moderated and ranks amongst the most thoughtful discussion on the internet.

We’re sending you a free copy of our book the Scientific Conquest of Death. Feel free to contact me with questions or comments at any time.

Very Best of Regards,
Eric Schulke

Comments on tweaking it please. It feels great to finally be able to address this as coming from Longecity. It has been a mish mash of indirect things like, "Longevity Communities Network" or refering as "Affliliates of the SENS research you may have heard of." or "Indefinite life extension advocates from Imminst." and regular "Imminst".

A next step will be in obtaining our invite and application only section. That should also help tremendously in these letters. Im going to try to help work a section in there for VIPs too. A place where we can entice them to join because of the weight of the other "VIPs" being there. We are working on a one section with in the invite and application section for philanthropists, media, people of affluence etc.. the way it is but a further section may be beneficial too. We'll see. It could make a superb hook for these letters, "We are inviting you to our invite and application only section where we discuss [x, y, z], where youll already find the likes of [x, y, z]. Please consider accepting at this link." etc...

As it stands we have been using hooks like, conference, invite to be interviewed on the Sunday Evening Update, and join the forum in general, but an invite to a forum is likely seen as more of an advertisement and doesnt stand out. Its just another forum. Whereas invite only section seems to have that "it" factor. That "whats in it for me" factor. It would also be more permanent and sure than things like conferences and SEU.
