Works after about 1,5 hours for me or if I take some cafeine with it usually within an hour.
I´m still tweaking my dosage atm, not sure yet what the optimal dosage would be. Currently I take 3x800 mg in the morning and in the afternoon together with a choline (citicoline) supplement.

The effects are noticeable within an hour. The effects continue for between 4 and 6 hours. It does not require co-administration for me to notice a difference.

I will say that it requires co-administration to maintain the effects.

Piracetam didn't work for me before day #6, where it suddenly kicked in. In conjunction with fish-oil, 3 grams every 3 hours, it's really kickin'.

i felt effect of piracetam on the first day. but it did become better throughout the days. 3times daily low dose worked much better then a larger dose.

My Kinkajou felt the effects within the first ten minutes of his very first ingestion (2400 mg. & 1000 gm. choline alfoscerate). The effects were distinctly noticeable, if verging on the subliminal...Something Was Going On (but what?)...then within one hour the colour saturation setting on his visual field had cranked way up. For the next several hours he noticed a profound broadening of his aesthetic sensibilities (OMG! Is everyone really that good looking?!). There was an annoying libidinous quality to it all that disappeared with a reduction in the choline source to 250 mg. (x2 daily).

After a week (which is no time at all), he still feels that subtle zoom within the first 10 minutes, and the full manifestation of effects within one hour.

My Kinkajou muses on the non-responder/responder phenomenon, wondering if there is another class of user, the "super-responder".

I experienced effects after ~6 days. My friend noticed the same thing. YMMV.

I decided to cycle off Piracetam for about 10 days. Just started again today and felt it kick in around the 1 hour mark. I feel totally focused and have been sitting here in the same exact position reading the forum for about 90 minutes. Feels great, especially with deprenyl

piracetam alone has no noticeable effect on me even at doses of 10grams
however after 20mg of noopept as little as 2grams of piracetam makes me scarily confident to the point i will talk to strangers on the street (im normally very introvert)
and greatly improves verbal fluency especially over a week of my personal ideal dose 3g piracetam + 20mg noopept twice a day

Sorry to hijack the thread (if it actually is), but do you experience any side effects from noopept?

Also, how long do the effects take for you after taking it?
