How much of a problem is it to take these two at the same time?

I have been told that if the dosages are half decent it should not be a problem.

ALCAR has a longer half-life, but should still best be taken at least twice daily. It should be taken away from food and from other quaternary amines (including DMAE, choline, and TMG) as they share a transporter system in the brain and GI and will compete for absorption if taken together.

But both compounds will absorb, but it takes longer?

Alot of products have these combined: BSL GO!, Scivation Neurostim and NeuroFX.
All of these have been successful, to a degree atleast.

People seem to love them.

Magr,

You might PM scivation at avant or 1fast400's forum--I just asked him a question and he was very quick in answering.

" I have been told that if the dosages are half decent it should not be a problem"

As a guess, possibly because some percentage does not make it into the CNS, but the majority does.

If one looks closely into things one finds that many of our beliefs are not true e.g. biotin and lipoic acid.

Are you referring to biotin defiency or transportation?

I read somewhere that even with high RALA dosages (1800mg) no biotin defiency was shown.

"I read somewhere that even with high RALA dosages (1800mg) no biotin defiency was shown."

That is exactly what I was referring to (we probably read the same thread on avant). Even though lots of places say one needs biotin with ALA/

There is alas no substitute for going back to the primary references yourself.
