Which one would you suggest for a 28 year old student, who suffers from very mild depression, extreme procrastination and slow brain speed due to going through depression for the last 3 years.
I'm getting closer to jumping on the bandwagon on some of the heaver stuff out there.

Thanks in advance.

There both good choices, but there not that closely related either. Deprenyl is more geared toward chronic use while modafinil is more of a PRN. Deprenyl is a lot cheaper then modafinil. Its perfectly legal to have deprenyl without a prescription, while possession of modafinil without a prescription is technically as illegal as possessing benzos. Deprenyl tends to potentate a lot of other drugs. Both are safe drugs but deprenyl has life extension properties. Deprenyl is sightly euphoric while modafinil is not.

Thanks for the reply. Ah so slighty more towards deprenyl i see. I think modafinil is non scheduled substance in the UK so it's legal i have heard. Did not understand what PRN is, but chronic use, does that mean, more likely for addiction?
Man im addicted to online buying, bought recently pyritonol and picamillon, there's soon no space under my bed, yikes!

Haha, there´s no space under my bed either, for the same reason.
Anyway, they are both good choices and there are no adverse effects in mixing them either in my quite extensive experience...
I will just repete what the other poster where saying, deprenyl for regular dayly use and modafinil just when you really need extra energy or when you're sleep depraved,
I use 2.5 mg of deprenyl dayly.

Modafinil is definitely slightly euphoric.

Any update on this?
It seems deprenyl is safer than modafinil and if there is no need to stay awake could be a good choice but how do they compare as stimulants?
Does deprenyl mess with serotonin at low doses?

Modafinil is very safe at normal dosage, probably safer than deprenyl (doses of more than 10mg for deprenyl might induce the "cheese effect" and are not safe).
They are both quite weak stimulants, at least in the long run. Modafinil will stop stimulating you, but it should still help with lack of sleep.
For me Deprenyl has a more stable (but slight) "brightening"effect (I take a low 1.25mg dose in the morning), while Modafinil can make me crash. You can "recharge" the Deprenyl effect with some coffee or other mild stim.
Mood is also better on Deprenyl on average than on Modafinil (gives me bad mood after a while).

YMMV...

nito, how was your experience?
Anyone have any update on this comparison of deprenyl vs modafinil?
