Billy and Howard and Duumvirate are about a lot of things, and biological immortality is only one of them. The first pair of books feature immortal transhumans, and the second features something that can make anyone an immortal transhuman; needless to say, it's desired greatly.
The books are also about control, ultraviolence, conspiracies, and the rest of the sort of thing you'd expect in modern literature.
I'm not entirely sure how well this fits among the rest of the books here but I've got a million F@H points for 32461 (as Eugenitor), so I expect some slack.
