I live in an apartment and theres a group of either Indian's or Pakistani's that live next door and they cook this awful putrid smelling food. This is honestly the most foul smelling thing I've ever smelled, even worse than dog feces. This smell attaches to my clothes and is with me all day causing be to be physically ill and reek. It's so strong that in class today everyone around me were holding their noses and i was self conscious I had to leave and miss a whole day's worth of classes, so it's effecting my life in many ways.

I've turned here to see if the chemists can help me devise a plan to cover up this scent, and how do i get it out of my clothes?

Ask them what spices they are cooking with. I'm curious to know. I am familiar with the smell you describe but I have experienced that with any indian spices I've ever used. Hmmm...they're holding out on us !

Ozone is toxic.

It helps to follow instructions on how to use an ozone generator. Basically, you leave it on in a room for a time and then wait some time before coming in (you leave yourself outside the room while it is being treated :))

My sympathies. I live in a building with a cantonese family, their cooking smells are absolutely horrrible. The odors are constantly permeating the corridor and stairs. The stenches don't get into my home though! :wacko:That would really suck!

You may consider figuring out how the smells are getting in and try to take measures to seal them out. Air sponges work ok, sounds like you would need a bunch though.
