That is sad but sums up the lost opportunities brought about by old age. It i also as said motivating people to do something about it all.

The way that I interpret this picture is that many of us are wasting time like the old man wishing that something could be done about aging when we could be working in the lab with scientific equipment in hand actually doing something about aging.

Are you going to be the old man wasting time stirring milk in some tea or be the scientist creating some anti aging formula?

That is a very good way of looking at it although not all of us can become scientists. All of us can do something though like volunteering, donating etc.

Yeah, not everyone may have the capability to become a scientist... Ive certainly questioned my own cognitive limitations in this regard, but im still pushing and trying anyway even tho' i'm a bit of a dumbass.

raising money and spreading the word is also really great.
