Hi All

Does anybody recall the research scientist from Curtin University in Perth a few years back, there was some public outrage when he was doing experiments on mentally handicapped people, attempting to transfer memories from their mind into a digital format, with the hope of one day being able to do a full mind transfer into another body.

It was similar to the scenario in the 90s movie Lawnmower Man where Pierce Brosnan did Virtual Reality experiments on people with down syndrome.

Dr Leonidis was adamant that his research would continue and said he would be moving the Africa or the Caribbean where the laws are not as strict so he could continue, but I cannot find out what he is doing now.

No idea sorry - maybe one of the Perth people have kept track of him?
