I have to make this quick but here is the spill. I have been reading into Quantum Mechanics and general Newtonian physics to try and come up with a way to generate electricity as efficiently as possible. Through my readings I had a funny thought pop into my head, which I've pondered on for about a week now.
Pulleys allow large objects to be lifted with little force. The unbalance of force causes movement (obviously). So essentially the energy it takes to lift and drop this heavy object would only be 1/2 of the energy it would generate. I made a quick diagram in MS Paint (below)
I will post on this more later, but for now I have to leave.
I know this has a flaw somewhere in it, because essentially it implies that we can create energy. This has been proven wrong on many occasions and that is why I have posted it here, to read your thoughts. Any input is much appreciated!
