all nootropics have beneficial and negative effects and you cant be on them all. what you should do is find the ones that fits you the best for your work and brain chemistry and personality etc. Obviously everything is gonna have some negative effects like BDNF cancer but doesn't mean it is the cause but only exacerbated in overdoses does it partake.

for example for me  cortexin barely works in high doses (100mg) at once. Let alone the normal dose at 10mg. Hence I use cerebrolysin instead. And it's the longest to kick in for me.
