I'm planing to travel India for 5 months and therefore wanted to ask for informations about local availability of supplements there.

Of course, to get it directly sent from iherb, instead of mentioned online store, would probably even be a bid cheaper. But any delays in delivery (or due to customs) could unsettle all my travel plans, to the point of being unacceptable.

Particularly for pure powders, like ascorbic acid, lysine, arginine... since I mainly use Pauling's therapy against my PAD, which for example recommends about 20 g vitamin C per day (and which couldn't be replaced with tablets because of their overdose in binders and fillers). Alone the C for 5 month would weight 3 kg, and even if I trim my extensive regimen I'll still end up with much overweight, ..not that good with PAD.

Though actually I'm pretty sure already that plain ascorbic acid powder isn't available at any shops or pharmacies in India, still there should be some bulk providers since it's widely used as antioxidant in the food manufacturing industry..

Would appreciate any suggestions.

You didn't mention what "PAD" was and I had to go search for it.

For peripheral arterial disease like intermittent claudication, 20 grams
of vitamin C daily would he quite a heavy and difficult regimen to follow,
and is more of an indirect preventative protocol.

Tocopheryl nicotinate would be a far better therapeutic option.. Can't find it
in India's CIMS, but brand names are "Hijuven" and "Juvela-N" by Eisai.

Otherwise, try "Renascin" by Mack, now part of Pfizer.

You could try this Taiwanese online drug order firm. You can't get it as a
supplement - tocopheryl nicotinate is a synthetic ester of vitamin E and niacin.

If you are looking to treat or prevent cancer, then go for tocopherol succinate.

I can't think of any other nutrient at this moderate dosage, nor any current drug,
which can knock down Lp(a), other than perhaps Matthias Rath's protocol of
