Looking to get rid of some persistent swollen veins in the... dark crack between the mounds of fat at the top of my legs.

Can anyone beat this supplement for dealing with this very itchy and irritating problem?

Jarrow Forumulas, Venous PF
  • Vitamin C 200 mg
  • Diosmin 450 mg
  • Hesperidin (Citrus sinensis) 50 mg
  • Butcher's Broom 4:1 Extract (Ruscus aculeatus) (root) 150 mg
  • Grape Seed 100:1 Extract (95% polyphenols) (Vitis vinifera; LeucoSelect) 100 mg
  • Horse Chestnut 6:1 Extract (min. 20% aescin) (Aesculus hippocastanum L.) 100 mg

Of course, there is the topical route of Preparation H and Witch Hazel extract.

And my father's solution: Raisin Bran (dietary fiber).

I'd instead recommend just seeing a colon specialist and have them use rubber bands (assuming your hemorrhoids are really bothersome). And yes to fiber... I wouldn't suggest raisin bran, but make sure your diet is high in fiber and it'll help.

Just run-of-the-mill hemorrhoids, so I don't think I have to go that far. Also, I have no insurance right now, so... no doctor's visits.

1. Epson salt bath.
2. Kegels http://www.thehemcur...e=11&subpage=28

(Optinion)
If bleeding then Vitamin C or cofactors are off.
Highest quality Vitamin C like Lypospheric Vitamin C 1-2g per day
Carson's Rutin makes an excellent co-factor supplement up to 3 grams a day if bleeding (Dr. Walt Stoll recommendation)

Possible direct application of ice, but I'd be careful with that.

No bleeding... though they would get a little raw back when I used to be constipated a lot. That's not really a problem these days.

I have been looking at making up some Do-It-Yourself Liposomal Vitamin C for a while now. Maybe this is the kick in the butt I need (pun intended... ).
