I take a lot of supplements/nootropics, so I decided to have some blood work done to check everything. Things are looking alright, but a few results are out of range. Here are the results that are a bit off (I added some extra results for context):

Bilirubin, Direct 0.21 (0.03 - 0.18) mg/dl
RBC 4.5 (4.7 - 6) 10^6/uL
MCH 31.4 (27 - 31) pg
Eosinophils % 0.23 (0.7 - 8.1) %
Uric Acid 10.3 (4.3 - 7.7) mg/dl
Glucose Fasting 29 (70 - 105) mg/dl
Vitamin B12 983 (239 - 931) pg/ml
Urine Ketone 15 (Negative) mg/dL
Hematocrit 42 (42 - 52) %

Extra:

Bilirubin, Total 0.7 (0.3 - 1) mg/dl
WBC 5.1 (4 - 10.5) 10^3/uL
Hemoglobin 14.1 (13.5 - 18) g/dL
MCHC 33.2 (32 - 36) g/dL
Platelet 153 (150 - 450) 10^3/uL
Iron 70 (50 - 212) ug/dl
Magnesium 1.9 (1.8 - 2.8) mg/dL
Vitamin D-25 OH 64.9 (30 - 100) ng/mL

What does this mean? Any ideas what supplements/interactions could be causing these "off" results? What can I do to get them all in range?

Here are the supplements I take:

2/6 Ortho-Core
1.5g Krill Oil
1g Acetyl-L-Carnitine Arginate
150mg Milk Thistle (30:1, 80%)
3g Piracetam
200mg Pramiracetam (not everyday)
2g Lion's Mane Mushroom (50% poly)
40mg Noopept (not everyday)
2g Magnesium L-Threonate
10mg PQQ
130mg Forskolin (20%)
750mg Aniracetam (not everyday)
4mg Astaxanthin
90mcg MK-7
5000IU Vitamin D-3
500mg Calcium-AEP
250mg CDP-Choline
60mg OptiZinc
3g PureWay-C (vitamin C)
3g Niacin

I'm also wondering if there's anything else I should be taking to balance out the high dose of Niacin and Vitamin C, and if you think my vitamin D levels are too high.

Thanks!

Is your fasting glucose of 29 a typo? Should that read 92?

Your D level is more than double what my target is. At 65 ng/ml, you are starting to climb up the right side of the inverted U-shaped curve. That's a lot of niacin! Can you take that much without flushing? Are you taking it for a dyslipidemia? Lots of zinc, too. I wonder if that's suppressing your copper levels, which in turn is leading to the high uric acid?

I'm going to lower the Zinc to the recommended 30mg. I'm taking higher doses of Niacin to help my cholesterol, and just in case the crazy (not in a good way) things I'm experiencing are a result of "schizophrenia" (3g niacin, 3g vitamin c is one of the natural remedies for schizophrenia).

Your Biliruben is the most concerning, it is a direct measure of liver function. It is hard to assess the results without a baseline. Have you had recent labs done that you have results on?

You should immediately have a doctor look at these results and perhaps order more tests. If your primary doctor doesn't think anything of it, try a nephrologist -- renal specialist.

Increased urea in the blood could be a sign of kidney failure, and you need to get it checked out at once.

Uric Acid and Urea are not the same thing. High uric acid can cause gout and can be caused by supplements, diuretics, kidney disease, diabetes, acidosis.

Also, if your blood sugar is 29 I am surprised you aren't suffering severe hypoglycemic affects.

Niacin is VERY hard on the liver at high doses. At that high of dose regular liver panels are recommended and its possible that is why your bilirubin is high.

See a doctor man...

Large doses of niacin (3g/day) often elevates uric acid levels and liver enzymes. I lowered the dose to 1g/day, because I couldn't stand the other side-effects. Hopefully that has helped.

High billirubin is gilberts syndrome, its not a serious condition.

Uric acid I would guess is from the Krill oil, perhaps reduce it to 500mg or 1g per day. 1.5g of krill is a high amount to take long term, its not fish oil.

Magnesium lowish, suppliment.

Iron and RBC lowish, you should suppliment with a high dose for a short time along with vit C for absorption. Gradually build up though so you dont get constipated. Ferro-grad C is good.

A week or 2 of liquid chlorophyll will build your platelet levels up, platelets move around serotonin in the body.

You also NEED a follow up for your glucose levels, the doctor should of mentioned that.

You should also get your blood calcium levels checked with 5000UI D3 a day.

And why is everything off, have you had a recent operation or bleeding condition?? Low platelets and low RBC....
