Here's a new method for detecting stem cells in the blood, which may potentially allow for bountiful harvesting:

Hmm, who would've thought that stretchiness was such a useful criteria for stem cell identification? I've heard that stem cells resemble macrophages with their amoeba-like shapeshifting, but I never knew what a distinctive feature it was.
