What happens when some religitard, or agnostitard decides to go on a killing spree?

Also, if this 'killing spree' takes place in public, how is having a real name or a pseudonym going to protect you?
Silly argument.

Killing sprees aren't isolated to public displays, I'm talking about targeted attacks, having your identity out there exposed makes you a massive target for the "you're playing god" crowd; and anyone you piss off regardless of whether or not your statements reflect reality and good intentions.

I suggest a tattoo on your arm or chest for first responders to use, including a detailed description to read the contents of a flash drive or document contained in a medical bracelet, to detail your intentions of life/death in a non responsive hospital environment.

Just make sure there is at least two of them, for redundancy, and that they are mirrored.

You can state that your nickname is "so and so" on longecity.com and many other websites aswell, and those on the internet cannot do the reverse, find you by searching for your real name online.

It solves this problem and keeps anonaminity intact.

I see advantages to using a ubiquitious identity, but I also see advantages to using multiple identities. If you've never been stalked before or dealt with identity theft then perhaps it seems silly to have multiple accounts. But even if you do everything legally and on the up-and-up that doesn't mean that you can't piss someone off somewhere and have them dox you or whatever.

Generally speaking I don't have a problem with amazon tracking certain things or netflix keeping tabs or whatever because I don't mind so much having technology influence certain decisions based on doing a better job at evaluating my psychology in certain areas than I do.

However everything I do online I take the approach of carefully considering what information I'm comfortable with being aggregated and what I'm not. I used adblock, not because I disagree with ads per se, but because I don't like how certain types of profiling subtly leaks over into other areas of life where you're not expecting it to.

I try to keep seperate identities for certain things, and I'm still rather upset about how youtube forced me to open up yet another google+ account when I just want to be able to watch and comment on videos without worrying about a database being built up tying my video watching history with all the social media.

I like social media but I have three facebook accounts, and it sucks but that's what it takes. One account I only use to sign up for crap where they force me to like their page or whatever to view content. Another account I use soley to keep in touch with people I know in real life, like family members who live in other states. The third account I use for my "main" identity.

Then serial killers would be having a field day.

All they needed to kill you would be telepathy or casting a death spell.

It would be a waste of time for the President to be surrounded by his
secret service detail, or to travel in his armored limousine.

Obama would have to hide himself under some fake identity whereever
he goes, or whatever statement he makes in the media, the internet, or
any public speech, for that matter.

If one is terrified, or paranoid rather, that making posts or any statement
in internet forums places your life in danger, there's a very simple solution.

Don't go on the internet.


Regardless of whatever pseudonym or fake identity you use on the internet
or whichever public medium, any resourceful killer, or a professional one that
the other party hires, can trace and take you out if he really wants you dead.

Saying anything controversial under your own full name can cause future employment problems.

HR departments in the US often use google name searches to eliminate job candidates.

I guess in some things I choose to be annonimous and in some not it depends but generally I don´t like having my life online
