Given endless resources what would be the wishlist for components, devices, and supplies, for the ultimate safe-house/bunker? Please list as many items as you can think of.

Wow, where to start with unlimited resources. How unlimited are we talking?? Can I put a in a nuclear power plant? :) What about 1m thick titanium walls? A supercomputer or 2? Can I make it the size of an aircraft hanger? You need to define the parameters more clearly.

Anything you want, that's available.Just brainstorm. Then from that list we will add parameters and narrow it down. We'll take the big ideas and if necessary find 'real-world' alternatives. I prefer never to begin brainstorming with constraints. Just don't forget the basic essentials.

Basically what you want to find is a naturally forming cave system, anything man made is going to be lesser quality than what nature can provide to you for free.

Failing that, comission some experts to reinforce an existing cave with weapons, as I will detail below.

A large geodesic dome about 200m wide. stuck in the ground (from base to roof probably about 500 meters tall) with a stainless steel body and a small unbreakable diamond glass roof with edible plants and a forest inside in the center garden, the diamond glass roof is a sunroof with great capability for diffusing the available light.

Underneath and to the side, is a large reserve supply of natural ground water, undetectable from the surface by a shield layed ontop to block radar/ultrasonic waves, this is used only as an emergency backup in the event of a failure to gather rainwater, and the dome has the facilities to filter anything out of it.

To the far north is a hydroelectric power plant, this provides a great majority of my regular domestic power supply for as long as humanity/the dam is around.

A secondary power supply is the availability of on-site geothermal power, in the basement there are several pipes coming up from deep in the ground, all of which provide steam power, hot running water, and a means of heating the dome if needed.

For defence it must have 50 cal and small caliber hand weapons available in a reinforced solid steel and concrete bunker at every entrance, just like the bunkers in WW2 Germany, this is to punch through any small improvised tanks, trucks or cars which can roll down into the entrance, and for people.

A sidewall mounted robotically controlled RPG system then protects the entrance from attacks further up near the mouth by taking out targets before they even get near to the tunnel.

Automated solid steel poles move down from the roof and rise up from the ground to prevent vehicles from rolling down.

An acid mist defence system melts the skin of anyone stupid enough to walk down the tunnel unshielded without a hazard suit.

Then a flame thrower defence system melts anyone smart enough to walk down the tunnel in a hazard suit.

Then the tunnels are protected with a flooding system which floods the entire tunnel within 30 seconds flat, and the tunnel is shaped like a U or a gooseneck so you basically need a god damn submarine/scuba gear inorder to get down in there, which is easily taken out.

Then finally, a large high voltage generator can flood the entire tunnel with lethal x-rays and microwaves, which basically cook anyone inside a tank, melt their face, etc.

Then a mist system can also reroute and distribute a pepper spray solution, blind their eyes with pepper spray in the event that they do not have adequate respirators.

A supercomputer on the 1st sub-level basement, the computers are 100% optical and redundant to the point of ludicracy, to power them all you need is sunlight or a very powerful torch/light source/laser.

A seed vault on the 2nd sub level basement.

The idea is to have this as my home for me and my several partners (I'm poly, but single.) for as long as possible while it is structurally sound, then if possible make a new one at some point and then jump into that.

The majority of my time is spent researching and studying electrical equipment, learning about new things and becoming smarter as the eons drift by, reading every book in existence and maintaining a large library of various topics covering almost every discipline both in digital and paper form.

Kinda like the pilot to Star Trek Voyager, but better.

This enables the ability to cover your home very well in armour, just incase micro meteorites hit your home it will survive.

The risk to meteorites hitting us on the head is actually quite high even down here on earth. all it takes is time! and sooner or later one will hit right where you are sitting.

So is the risk that a car/truck will come flying into your bedroom at night which is far more likely, even if you live in a somewhat unlikely area for a car/truck to be coming off the road, it can and does happen.

The dome needs to survive:
Angry bikie gangs, terrorists, other survivalists. (Looking for food/water/gold)
A car or truck hitting the doors.
A plane hitting its roof, might even need to harden it against a jumbo jet by burying it more.
Regular Forest fires.
Intense and extreme long term Drought
Extreme long term flooding.
Gunshots, from a 50 caliber directed at the diamond sunroof. https://www.youtube....h?v=XyoAP10uKTk
and Intense long-term use of RPG's directed at every orofice of the building.
ontop of that, it needs to withstand TNT and cluster bombs being buried deeper further down than where the base of the dome is.

It doesn't need to survive a barrage of bunker busters, I have no intention of pissing off any major political power, though you never know if or when protection like that will come in handy.

For something that is meant to protect me for eternity, this would be bare minimum, infact it would be inadequate if future weapons technology is going to improve.
