Hello, I'm interested in starting a nootropic stack mainly for reducing anxiety and improving cognitive ability. I have poor short term memory and reguarly lose things, forget where I parked, or forget something I was told to do. I had undiagnosed severe obstructive sleep apnea for many years because I was so underweight and it's very unusual for someone who's underweight to have such a severe case. I know this contributes to my memory issues, as well as my anxiety. I'm 20 now, and this all kicked in around 7th grade.

I'm looking at noopept, huperzine a, lion's mane, ash(I have a bunch of herbs around, I'm a smalltime kratom vendor), catuaba, holy basil, muira puama, and siberian ginseng. These are just ideas, I'm not planning on stacking all of them. What stack is effective for anxiety while enhancing cognitive at the same time? I've tried huperzine a in the past and noticed a difference, as well as the ash and holy basil.

My meds are:

Wellbutrin
Nuvigil
Lexapro(currently tapering off)
Xanax(as needed)

I was prescribed modafinil for daytime fatigue, it's a wonder drug for me. I switched to Nuvigil a few years ago because my insurance wouldn't cover modafinil any more. Wellbutrin also works very well for me, it's the only antidepressant I've ever found to be effective, I've tried most of the ones on the market.

Yes, noopept tends to reduce anxiety for many people, and it also often improves cognitive function. I can't tell you very much about the herbs you've mentioned, because I have no experience with them except for siberian ginseng. I find it does relieve anxiety, but causes me to become foggy-headed.

Hi,
I need some advice on certain race tam that i take.
how is it possible to take aniracetam without feeling sleepy at all?
I'm trying my best to seek cure for myself, but it seems to me that the combination of aniracetam and oxiracetam and choline doesn't work.
How come? I really cannot function properly at this rate.
Can anyone help? I need it desperately.
I thought nootropics is for those with cognitive problem, now its worse.

I think I'm gonna go with bacopa and noopept + aniracetam, would adding piracetam be beneficial? What about choline, do I need to get some alpha-gpc or something?

Changed my stack, it's now:

Noopept
Aniracetam
Sulbutamine
Lion's mane powder

I found a site selling a pound of full spectrum lion's mane powder for $30, sounds like a good deal to me.

i'm sure, but i totally agree that racetams do not suit everyone. Aniracetam makes me depressed, thinking that i have taken 4g max and i think i'll kick it aside. Thankfully for choline and oxiracetam

Been on a stack of aniracetam and noopept for a few days now, haven't noticed much of a difference. I can't tell if it's placebo or not. I've been feeling increasingly restless and agitated in the past few days, but that's due to opiate withdrawal, I doubt it has anything to do with the stack.

My stack was based on similar grounds, "what can I do to help with my memory, promote brain health, and what can I do about my anxiety".

My current stack is this:

Neuro Boost Piracetam
Aniracetam
Pramiracetam
Neuro Breeze L-Theanine
Sulbutiamine

Aniracetam, Neuro Breeze, and Sulbutiamine are all supposed to be helpful with anxiety, and also all have some Nootropic value.

And ya Nutmeg, the agitation/restlessness is from withdrawal, I went through something very similar don't worry tends to waiver after a brief time.

What sort of dosage are you taking with that stack?

I haven't bought anything yet, but this is my planned stack:

Piracetam
Aniracetam
Sulbutamine

Would oxiracetam be beneficial if added to this stack? I'm looking for something that sharpens my mind and memory, as well as reducing anxiety.

I'm taking
  • Piracetam 3-4 x 800mg vcaps
  • Aniracetam 2-3 x 750mg vcaps
  • Pramiracetam 1-2 x 300mg vcaps
  • Sulbutiamine 2-3 x 250mg vcaps
  • Choline Bitartrate 310mg vcap every other day
  • L-Theanine 2 x 100mg vcaps
I've been looking into Oxiracetam lately, and I have to say it definitely looks like something I personally will be including into my stack. Either that or Neuro Blast since Phenylpiracetam is supposed to have some anti-anxiety, and antidepressant benefits along with being more potent than Piracetam. I've already put in my order for the Neuro Blast, so after I check it out I will see if I am going to also include Oxiracetam and just simply remove Aniracetam from my stack.

For me it took some time for Noopept to really kick in. I took 10mg 3 x day and after about 12 days it didn´t only reduce my anxiety, it completely killed it. After 12 weeks I took a break just for the sake of it and to calm down my head and my body and now I am on my 5th day in again, waiting for the effects to come back. My personal experience tells me, not to dose to high at the beginning. It takes some time. Waiting for it is really worth it. At the end it worked better than any antidepressant I ever took.

Same here with Piracetam. The first 7 days were godlike. Then just plain tiredness. I almost gave up but kept on taking it 4 more days. And there it was. No anxiety. Calm and focus. Really concentrated. Although I have to cycle the two of them. Because after around 8 weeks either the Piracetam makes me feel like burned out or the Noopept does it.

Also, I would suggest taking every new substance at it own for about 14 days. I know it sounds long but I found it critical in case of finding the right dosage. For example Noopept and Piracetam work wonder for me but only if taken alone. Taken together, they make me feel really tired and/or give me a confused feeling. I never would´ve found the right dosage if I had started taking them together in the first place.

Workout seems to be VERY benefitial for both substances and anxiety in general!

If you tend to depression, be VERY careful with Choline!!! Even in small doses of 100 mg it makes me really depressed again, no matter what other substance I took. Before I noticed that Choline was the cause of it, I took 1200 mg to counter a Piracetam headache. That was the worst day since years! Try to avoid it and eat healthy instead. Eggs for example.

Good luck!
