I can feel it if I take UMP sublingually (250mg sublingual held for 10 minutes will do it). My head feels cloudy and I can't think as clearly. I was expecting "overly focused" or overstimulated (like with caffeine), but this is not the case for me. What are your symptoms?

Isn't 250mg like a little less than 500g of tomatoes? I've been dosing 250mg UMP in the morning for like a week and feel a lot more "to the point" and "tunnel visioned." I tried TAU before and did not get anything so I would take TAU before sleep for modulation.

Are you taking it sublingually too? If not, maybe OP needs to cut the dose before taking it sublingually, because there's probably an n-shaped response curve.

I am dosing 300mg now in my morning shake and see no side effects. I am not sure about n-shaped curves considering the souvenaid formula has 625mg of UMP for pre-alzheimers patients. I really doubt they would want to make those patients "brain-fogged" but that's a kind of tangential argument b/c I really don't know what a standard dose for "healthy" human should be.

Too much = over-modulation of dopamine = emotional dullness, which lasts for about 14 hours.

Can be handy in high stress / work environments, but not handy for intimacy.

You da man!

Indeed, I was going to mention this earlier but was not sure that a week of 250g UMP oral dosing was conclusive. I did experience somewhat "detached" border-line sociopathic undertones in my "tunnel vision" focus. But that was going on 6hrs of sleep and yes other "cofactors" were involved, Modafinil in particular.

I think taking too much would make gaba activation too high. You might feel giddy, but maintain normal clarity.
