Clenbuterol administration is able to increase production of kynurenic acid in rat cortical slices and glial cultures, potentially exerting a neuroprotective effect[6] via beta-adrenergic agonism.[7] Clenbuterol can also exert neuroprotective effects via increased mRNA synthesis of Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) and other growth factors.[8][9] Via these mechanisms, it can protect against ischemic reperfusion and glutamate-induced excitotoxicity.[9] (Examine.com)

But, primarily it just gives me soooooo much energy. I have drive, motivation, I feel fluid, motivated, excited.

I feel more off this than a 1000mg of adrafinil!

I've taken it in the summer to lose some fat and it worked really well. Also, it gave me an incredible happy mood and made me super motivated. I couldn't stop doing things, like cleaning the house or reading stuff. But It's a bit nasty for the heart, it sent my blood pressure through the roof even with a somewhat small dose 40mcgs.

If you don't drop dead of a heart attack it might work.I've taken it a lot for bodybuilding. I'm not a fan really. Its easy on paper to say its nootropic but even in smaller than you mentioned doses it jacks your bp uo. Its nothing to mess with if you don't have a beta blocker on hand if things get ugly.

Also I forgot to mention that after three days on it the effects drastically reduce.

Same, its great for working out but its so self-limiting. Quick Tolerance, dangerous effects... These are the main reasons the FDA banned it and made it animal-use only now.

60mcg/day from progenpeptides.com in a 40mcg in the morning 20mcg at 4pm dosing schedule. Ya it does have some side effects. Nothing to play around with.

This is an old thread but im writing this  for people coming from google here. Stay away from this drug.

people should stop this kind of ignorant  dangerous bullshit from stupit rat studies.

There is a lot of is apliable illuminating studies too but just be carefull about this kind of thing.

If you use it chronicly you gonna develop anxiety, depression pathways in your brain about getting angry about stupit things, caring about what you shouldnt care..etc, it can give you mania, psycosis, paranoia  and you can end up with an ssri cycle to remove these habits, reprogram your brain. clen can live you in a shithole without you noticing anything.

Best destroyers of cognitive function is mentall ilneses. If you have some serious sht going on, the strongest anti-nootropic, zombifying, drugs can give you amazing cognitive boost 100 times better than any nootropic, because they are working for your mentall illnes.

I used a lot of Clenbuterol back when I used to compete in bodybuilding. Way too many cardiac risk with this drug. Also for most people it actually doesn’t give you energy. That’s why caffeine is commonly coadministered with it. Ephedrine is much safer than clenbuterol. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if therapeutic doses of amphetamines have less cardiac risk then clen.
