This company has come up in separate discussion again but I have been unable to find anything on it being publicly traded. They do suggest they are interested in investment and offer a contact address: investment@21cm.com

Has anyone contacted them yet?

Has anyone else researched them at all?

Um.... is this a joke? - do people here really not know that 21CM is the company of which Greg Fahy is the CSO and Brian Wowk another senior scientist? Brian is here a lot and I'm sure will answer any non-confidential questions.

Nope I didn't realize the relation of the two. John might have when he mentioned to me that the company did tissue preservation but he never mentioned that this is *family* (so to speak) and I for one haven't fully researched the company yet.

So Brian if you are reading this; is the company publicly traded or is it just a private corporation?

Private with a dozen staff, including four senior scientists working on hypothermic preservation of kidneys and hearts, and cryothermic preservation of kidneys, corneas, cartilage, and brain tissue. Our Chief Scientific Officer, Greg Fahy, is the inventor of modern vitrification. We are the most advanced tissue cryopreservation lab in the world, and the only lab studying cryopreservation of vital organs.

So on the webpage where investment is discussed

http://www.21cm.com/investors.html

An Investment in Preservation
From medicine to agriculture and transportation to biologistics, profitable applications for our vitrification technology platform are virtually unlimited.

While we continue to invent and discover, we now have teams focused on product and market development as we move toward the commercialization of our research services and preservation technology platform. Most exciting of all, we’re the only laboratory in the world with a direct focus on organ vitrification research. This places us directly in line to benefit from the many other medical applications of our technology platform.

Our research staff is world-class; our management team is seasoned. And we’re already aggressively moving into new market applications. If you are interested in being a part of our financial growth, please contact us at investment@21cm.com .

How is that done?

I'm afraid you'll have to email investment@21cm.com to find out under what terms new private investors are brought in. I'm not sufficiently involved with management to speak confidently about investment details.
