Just a quick question - I heard someone say that there are supps that can enhance
this experience. Anyone who knows of any supps that can enhance or has any
any info on cautions that I should know. Thank you in advance.

Blessings

GABA or L-Theanine might help in "quieting the mind" slightly(cutting down internal dialogue). This could help you into a meditative state faster.

I use 300mg Theanine 1/2-1hr before using my Theta Meditation CDs and have had better results. Any teas or supps that would slow down the racing awakened mind would be beneficial IMO.

The purists will insist that Meditation should be done "cleanly" but for those of us not yet veterans, the Theanine or GABA can help.

This is an area that interests me as well. I have great trouble stopping "the internal dialogue". I also have tinnitus, which makes it very difficult to zone out.

Anyone had any experience with aromatherapy for this sort of thng too? I heard lavender and chamomile were potentially useful.

Interested to hear more alternatives.

i think i was the one to mention this interesting combination. i'll just try to explain my logic.

article

...Piracetam-nootropics may increase learning and memory in healthy individuals, where they are not merely attenuating or reversing pathology, through their distinctive power to promote what has been termed "hemispheric super-connection....

hemi-sync

The result is a focused, whole-brain state known as hemispheric synchronization, or “Hemi-Sync®,” where the left and right hemispheres are working together in a state of coherence. As an analogy, lasers produce focused, coherent light. Hemi-Sync® produces a focused, coherent mind, which is an optimal condition for improving human performance.

i am hoping the similar goal with different approaches pays off!!!

The past week or so I've been taking Centrophenoxine, Bacopa, Picamilon, and the iodine/B6/B12 supplementation from seaweed. While this last item increases the urge to communicate both verbally and internally, it seems that this combination helps immensely when I used some binaural programs set to traverse the above-"internal" frequencies"(defined as above 12hz....by me :) ; for waking-optimization of waking-processing...below 12 hz for me seems to work "internally" necessitating a focused relaxation period while I can just turn on the above-12hz programs while doing work).

The Centrophenoxine and Picamilon help optimize the bloodflow within the brain while the Bacopa handles the stress(and whatever else it does).

Theanine and Phenibut(GABA breakdown from this) make me stupid and drifty. I wouldn't use them distinctly for the purpose of enhancing "hemi sync" type programs.

I really don't think the sticklerisms of meditation apply here since you're using the meditational-state synthesizing tool of binaural programs.

As far as precautions for binaural programs... watch your diet and stress levels. Antagonizing your stress levels with food allergies or anything else such as sleep deficit, lazyassedness :), or anything like that can make the gains of your programming diminish and magnify the stress. This I can say from experience. The higher you climb on the rock-face, the farther the fall down(and recovery time). Nothing to be scared of, just don't drag along your old bad habits to these "higher clarified altitudes"; they act as a wrench in the smoother running machinery when before they served as the gears of reward in goal subjugation.
