Please help provide information about supplemental or alternative treatments (holistic medicine approaches) for pancreatic cancer that oncologists have said has spread to the liver. So far, I've heard that curcumin and black cumin seed oil maybe effective adjunctive treatments to chemotherapy.

Please advise.

Sorry to hear you're dealing with that, but I'm glad you came here.

You might want to ask your doctors what the five year survival rate is with and without conventional treatment because I'm not sure it will improve your chances and it will make you sick.

It is imperative that you cease smoking, e-cigarettes, or anything that isn't healthy.  Don't consume sugar.   Try to reduce your exposure to radiation.  Try to eat a steamed green vegetable every day.

Don't know what would help as an adjunct to chemotherapy.  What would be good for this condition in other circumstances would be pancreatin.  I like Nature's Plus brand because it is enteric-coated to protect it from stomach acids.  Take it on an empty stomach and wait twenty minutes to eat.  If you've had surgery, try and check if Pancreatin would be safe for you.  Green Magma is good if it agrees with you.  Chinese Medicine is good.  Below is a thread to my guide to understanding it:

I think I should be more plain.  I believe that having more Western treatment like surgery, chemo and radiation at this point will put you through an ordeal and probably hasten your death.  I think you should use a good acupuncturist/Chinese herbalist and do supplements and diet and lifestyle.  I would use a good diet that is also in accordance with the principles of Chinese medicine as outlined in my thread.  If possible, I'd pray and also talk to your body and ask it what it wants and how it feels.  Here is a link to my list of prayer lines.

It's common to believe that doctors are in charge of us, that we need to consult with them and have them approve of our actions.  Your illness has about a 5% survival rate.  It's unclear if the things doctors do improve that.  They are certainly costly and unpleasant.  They can make things worse.  Treatment for lung cancer, for instance, makes the patients 2% more likely to die according the a meta-analysis of published studies published in US News and World Report years ago.  For a while there was discussion about changing the treatment for that illness but then, astonishingly, they just went back to what they were doing.

I used to use a wheelchair but now I walk and use my wheelchair for a walker, sometimes.  I had no insurance.  I didn't really involve doctors.  I did it on my own doing things like those I recommend to you.
