What do you mean by "distributed research"? Do you mean everybody to do what he/she can for the research, and at the end the results to be shown to everybody?
Some time ago, I wanted to do something like that, but unfortunatelly nothing happened.

In the upper topic I suggested that people from this forum, who are using some strategy to fight an aging change, can volunteer and record their results after the usage, and these results then to be compared with another volunteer group of people, who are not using this strategy. On that way a research from the comunity can be made. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to collect enough volunteers, which was the reason for nothing to happen. Ofcourse, this idea, or something simmilar to it, still can be done. Such a research can be made over alot of things. It is a question of brainstorming. I suggested entirely as an example anti - wrinkle cremes. In the same topic brokenportal suggested that CR, resveratrol, astralagus and metaformin can be the topic of such a research. So.. if you manage to collect enough people, for example people, who are using C60 (I choose C60 because I thnk that many people from the forum use it currently) and if we find a way for self - measuring and documenting the anti - aging effect after the C60 usage, and compare it with the control group, we can make a comunity - based distributed research and publish it. Even if not publishing it, the research together with the results can be listed in some forum topic here. I will be happy to help with the shaping of the research, and even I may participate in such a research. So.. if you want we (both for now) may try to do something.
