Pure D-Biotin sources?

Can anyone point me to a good source of pure D-Biotin in bulk form? I guess filler-free capsules would be acceptable too, though they'd doubtless be more expensive.

Heh, I'd never heard of it until designer supps put in into glucophase.

Yeah, extensively, but all I've found is www.anaspec.com, which sells it for $27 for a gram plus $15 shipping, and they only guarantee <=20ppm heavy metals.

This raises an interesting question, though. How important is it to just get the D form — and not just of biotin, but of other B vitamins. I assume other B vitamins, in fact other vitamins generally, generally come in various isomers, anyway.

I may be wrong to select that form, but I've had a heck of a time finding out which form is actually the natural biological form and which forms might be undesirable.

So, then, given that I want pure bulk biotin, can you shed any further light on the subject or recommend any sources?
