...just 23,000 genetic tests left to approve over the next 46,000 years!

Today is a happy day for 23andMe, which has now been authorized to provide about a thousandth of the useful information which it used to provide back in 2008. Yay! It's Reverse Moore's Law!

The Ministry of Medical Truth claims that it had enjoined the company from providing genetic information back in 2013 because the company could not back up its marketing claims. But according to this BBC video interview with CEO Anne Wojcicki, they have a 99.9% reliability rate at detecting genetic mutations. So by remaining totally ignorant of our genomes, we stand a better chance of living longer than by risking a 0.1% chance that any given gene report is erroneous.

Psst... dear Ministry, you might want to ask the New York Attorney General why they're observing an 83% fraud rate in a certain retailer's herbal supplements. That's a slightly higher risk ratio.
 

I wonder what other brilliant statistical revelations they have for us...
