Hi,

Garlic is wildly re searched... one of the best on examine.com .....

you can buy garlic in pills, but it contains only [1] compound. e.g: ALLICIN OR SAC , ETC, ETC.

but there's over 200+ compounds in garlic???

how can I put garlic in a pill?

thanks.

Kyolic is the standard for pills
http://www.ncbi.nlm....pubmed/11238807
But use the real stuff if you want. Like ginger, I think it's easier to properly control dose with the real raw stuff,
But pills may have more of a pharmaceutical type use.

A single clove of garlic gives you 2.5mg of allicin.   But if you look at Allimax product, it gives 180mg of allicin per capsule, equivalent to 72 cloves, but it costs 90 cents per cap.   Seems more cost effective just to crush raw garlic and mix it with something palatable, like olive oil and some herbs.  The garlic must be raw, and the allicin after crushing lasts only for a few seconds.
