Everytime I take PQQ my winds are like 10x more intense. If I take it daily at a dose of 5 mg I also notice the soles of my feet get really sweaty. So that would be a proof that PQQ boosts bacterias inside and on your body. My theory for the sweaty feets is that the PQQ goes into the perspiration water and causes a big growth of the already existing bacterias, and the more bacterias there are the more bio-energy they will create.

There was also a funny review on Amazon that would confirm my experience:

1.0 out of 5 stars

When I took this product in mid Feb, I had immediate diarrhea problem. I am not talking usual everyday diarrhea. This was a real blow out. I was constantly running to bathroom - almost 4 times during 2 hour period. In fact the first time this happened, I took a nap feeling tired and sick in stomach. A bad mistake. I badly soiled my bed and had to throw out the whole bedding! I even had to cut out a part of mattress.

Initially I thought it was due to a piece of meat I ate. I certainly never had any problems with several other nutritional supplements I take regularly. The second capsule was ok. But with next one, the diarrhea was back with vengeance. The same brown, watery discharge. The same 3-4 trips to bathroom within 2 hours. So I had to admit this PQQ WAS the problem. Since stop taking the PQQ from Life Extension, the diarrhea stopped totally.

I believe the bottle of PQQ I got was severely contaminated. I even suspect a sabotage by a disgruntled employee. I certainly cannot imagine this is what PQQ was supposed to do!

Anyhow my try with PQQ is over for now and certainly I will never buy ANY product from Life Extension again. This is a manufacturer I cannot trust based on this experience.

What the guy experienced was probably a massive growth of bad bacteria that would already be in his gut.

Did anybody else notice these effects?

I've taken 60 pills of PQQ in the past, and don't recall it correlating to a problem with gas or wild bowel movements.  That was a funny amazon review, though.
