Hi. Since 2 weeks, I've been taking CDP Choline (250mg once or twice a day) along with 400mg of ALCAR, 400mg of L-Tyrosine, 100mg of caffeine and some vit b6/fish oil and multivitamin. In the begining, the stack worked quite nice (although it gave me a strange feeling of tension in my head) but 2-3 days ago I started to feel some very uncomfortable side effects. When I take CDP choline with some coffeine in the morning, they actually still give me a nice boost but as soon as I add the L-Tyrosine/ALCAR capsule, I'm starting to feel horrible. And I mean really, really horrible! It gives me a horrible brain fog, thinking and processing information becomes a struggle, my vision is somehow impaired (it gets blurry and I have a slight photophobia), I feel an unpleasent tension in my head, I become sleepy and anhedonic, my heart rate increases, I feel some pressure in the chest and breathing becomes more difficult (a mild dyspnea). Also my sense of taste seems to be affected and even if it's warm outside, I'm experiencing chills.
My question is - could it be caused by too high Ach level in my system? If so, why after taking CDP Choline by itself everything is fine? Is it possible that 400mg of ALCAR can elevate the Ach levels in my brain to such an extent? Maybe it's caused by L-Tyrosine (some conversion problems or... I don't know). Since most of the people here probably did a lot more research on these substances than I did, I hope someone can provide me with a logical answer. Honestly, I'm a little bit worried about my reaction. As far as I know, these substances are commonly taken togheter in much higher doses than I do and side effects are unlikely to occur.
Regards, Michał
