Hi guys.
There's this question that's roaming in my head since quite a long time.
Checking out what's going on in the life extension world, it's easy to realize that there are two main directions in which the research is going.
The biological and the syntethic way.
Two of the main organizations that pop in my mind are the SENS and the 2045 project. Since I'm pretty sure each and every one of you is familiar enough with both of them I won't waste any text to explain what they're doing.
What I'm asking is, being in a phase of my life in which I have to choose a direction myself, which approach is going to be quicker?
Do you think we are going to extend our lifespans earlier by hacking our genes and defeating ageing or (assuming that we like the idea) by tranfering our consciousness into a non-biological/semi-biological system?
