What's more interesting in my opinion is if similar effects could be obtained by various fasting techniques (intermittent fasting or alternate day fasting). I don't like having to restrict my food intake continuously. I like to think that after a decent period of fasting higher calorie consumption could be an important part of stimulating the production of healthy cells to replace those that were destroyed via autophagy.

When I did CR, i had no loss of libido! The funny thing is that it felt like time went by faster.... Meaning less time. I don't think libido loss is universal to CR. I had boundless energy and a strong sex drive.
