Hello,

The time come to take my exams. With majority of them I have no problem, but there's few, that Im afraid, well sort of.

For them I need to memorise a lot of information. So I  decided to buy some drugs to help my brain and memory.

First I thought about Neurozan, but then nootrops came in my way, while I was searching whats best.

Yesterday I was asured that I will buy Noopept, but today I did a little bit more research and changed my mind.

Noopept. I found out that some of the people report desired effect, short memory loss(reverse effect from what you should get) and that noopept works quite different on each individual.

So now I am thinking about Pramiracetam or Alpha-GPC or Oxiracetam. As for first time I want to try this thing, so I would buy one of these, wont do stacks.

So now what I need from nootrops is to memorise information faster and last longer :)

Which one of these Pramiracetam or Alpha-GPC or Oxiracetam would You recommend, or maybe these are outdated, and You now something better than these?

I would be really really  grateful for Your help :).

go heavy on the bacopa and light on the kush.  bacopa is great for months out, helps cram.  also helps to a lesser extent with short-term memory, you will feel more like a computer and more able to recall thoughts from earlier in your meditations.  I love to take it on lonely, introspective nights because I perform better that way.

if you're less than a few weeks out, just stick to coffee, maybe some royal jelly and magnesium?  Anything else will be too unpredictable, too much ebb and flow (like you read about noopept).  all too many of these RCs will have you second guessing your abilities and pulling your hair out by day two.  and yeah, im aware i just referred to prami as an RC.  sue me.

Consider adding CELASTRUS PANICULATUS, CDP-Choline and forskolin.

Seconded on the Bacopa. I like AOR's version, but nowadays Synapsa seems like the new rad Bacopa thing. Bacognize has been said to be pretty good, too. Can't beat just taking 1 to 2 capsules of a herb... I recommend browsing through the nootropicsdepot.com catalog and reading some reviews/anecdotal experiences on their herbs, they sell a whole lot of nifty things. Call me old-fashioned, but if you can afford it, I'd encourage you to try the 'natural' approach before anything else.

Piracetam wasn't very useful for me for studying, made me feel weird. Oxiracetam made me feel hyper manic (I am out of control if I take oxi, had some left over and tried it again since years: same effect, I go nuts). Prami is great for writing papers in my experience, but comes with emotional and sexual instability (feeling empty).

One of the best of moments making memories about a book was with Sunifiram and Forskolin+Quercetin

A number of anecdotal experiences speak in grand terms to Piracetam’s capacity as a transformative upgrade tool for the memories of otherwise healthy, young people. It has an uncanny, yet frequently reported effect of bringing back once forgotten memories, both good and bad. One Biohacker reported:

“I as well find Piracetam gives me access to more of my memory. One of it's wonderful effects. Great for writing a paper or doing any sort of creating and for just a general feeling of intellectual enhancement. Imagine more of your memory stores into conscious awareness! That is an amazing thing! If it brings bad memories up, just gives one a chance to work-through some stuff that is in the background of the mind and effecting one in some way, which is a good, enriching, rewarding process to go through”

Another self experimenter agreed:

“I have also had a FLOOD of memories reintroduced to my consciousness since taking piracetam. The memories are good, neutral, and bad. It a very strange, but interesting experience. I recently had a flood of memories and emotions of a childhood daycare experience.”

On the darker side of the spectrum, a PTSD sufferer reported:

“...when I take piracetam all the bad memories seem to find there way back into my head especially a night right before I go to sleep. Its tough to deal with, but the benefits are so good that not taking piracetam is a hard thing to do.”

Getting back into the published research data...

A noteworthy meta analysis was published in 2002, diving deep into the data of 19 double blind, placebo controlled studies, totalling over 1400 human participants. To quote the abstract:

“...the results of this analysis provide compelling evidence for the global efficacy of piracetam in a diverse group of older subjects with cognitive impairment.”

A placebo controlled, human study of dyslexics and non-dyslexics stated “...It was found, using a double-blind cross-over technique, that dyslexics significantly increased their verbal learning by 15.0%...”

The evidence that Piracetam enhances the memory capacity of the young and healthy is not as strong, however a double blind study of 16 humans found that a dosage of 1200 milligrams daily, produced a statistically significant increase in working memory and verbal learning after 2 weeks in healthy college students.

It's memory increasing effects are attributed to improving the function of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine.

Oxiracetam made me feel hyper manic (I am out of control if I take oxi, had some left over and tried it again since years: same effect, I go nuts).

Is that a fun kind of feeling?

U can give a try to noopept. If someone expirienced this side effect u cannot be sure u will expirience the same. Just dont do it right on the exam day. Do some experiments before and see how it works for u. Cuz evebody is different when it comes to drug reactions.

Some memories are stronger than others. the way to make specific memories more memorable is to create meaning in them for you.
