Just a quick thing people may not know. But I remember reading about how primrose oil/gla being able to activate brown fat.
Now I do have a history of using ice vests, ice/cold baths, and cold showers (the two former things I no longer do). And I have also taken Primrose Oil before bed, and the few times that I did, I felt absolutely boiling and had trouble falling asleep. It felt like my body heat had ramped right up, almost like a hot flush.
I think because of my training with cold thermogenesis, the primerose oil activated my brown fat a lot more than usual.
Anyway I just wanted to post my experience, as anyone who practices cold exposure, might want to test primrose oil before bed, and see if they get a similar effect. I can't remember my dosage exactly, but I know I usually use to take 1-3g.
