I'm searching for a multimineral and I'm trying to figure out which to buy. Which is the better of these two options (and is there anything better):

A good muli-mineral is difficult since we all have different needs. I wouldn't supplement one with iron, copper, manganese and calcium - if I wouldn't know for sure I'm deficient. With extensive testing I'm aware that I'm terribly deficient in Mg, which I need 4x as much (>2 g/d) as calcium just to avoid painful muscle-cramps (beside as much potassium and sodium). Have a low zinc to copper ratio, where I have to supplement as much zinc as I can stomach (<60mg), with no more than 0.5 mg of copper. With manganese up to 2 mg I'm fine. Many of the elements I've to add to get optimal intakes. On the other hand, my ferritin stayed ideal with about 13 mg of iron.

Therefore, Bluebonnet with its 10 mg of manganese would be to much for my taste, and Country's which also contains 1 g of calcium would only take have the dose.

Found Two-per-day Multimineral by LEF has much better ratios and in comparison is very inexpensive. Still, only take at about 2/3 of its recommended dose.

I like Pic-Mins, by Thorne:

Zinc (Picolinate) 15mg

Selenium 100 mcg

Manganese (Picolinate) 2.5 mg

Chromium 100 mcg

Molybdenum (Picolinate) 50 mcg

Boron (Picolinate) 700 mcg

Vanadium (Picolinate) 50 mcg

No iron or calcium, which most people don't need, and without a specific need can be harmful.

My view is that it's better to supplement magnesium independently, since most people need way more than you can get in a once-a-day.

Yeah, this one isn't too bad.  I like that it has some trace minerals like boron but doesn't have copper.  That is a little hard to find it seems.
