has anyone tried this???

'' Reserpine is a molecule which exists in Rauwolfia Serpentina which is also known as Snake Root. The great thing about this is that while Reserpine is a prescription only drug, the Rauwolfia Serpentina containing Snake Root is available over the counter in the USA.  ''

''Reserpine is an MAO-A agonist which means it promotes MAO-A activity, and in doing so helps to turn serotonin over into what's called its active aldehyde form.''

I have ordered some cant wait to test it out

I did, about 2 years ago.

I found the same site as you did.

I also have the same mutation.

What it did for me: nothing good.

I was brain fogged and tired all the time on it. Felt terrible and took a while to return to baseline after stopping.

For example: I never missed to get off the bus at the right bus stop before, but while on rauvolfia I did and even took a while to realize and my friend was like "wtf is wrong with you, are you high?".

Can't really recommend it but who knows maybe it will be better for you.

For me, it sucked the life out of me. :(

Without psychiatric condition, I take about 70 mg of rauwolfia serpentina extract (from Himalaya company) for it's blood-pressure properties the last 5 years. Beside that, experienced no side-effects.

I took 60 mg dosages, I bought bulk herb powder from India.

I don't remember how many times I took it, I think it was 2-3 times a day for 2-3 weeks.

Maybe it will be better for you than it was for me.

if you still have some of it left try adding it to a tiny cup of vodka or high % ethanol, swirl it or shake it and then let it sit under your tongue, don't swallow immediately

on the surface resperine has everything in common with vinpocetine.  a general stimulant known to lower tolerance to other nootropics, prolonged use of which leads to depletion of serotonin and dopamine in key regions, and is accordingly thought to be effective at normalizing receptors in cases of social anxiety, depression or schizophrenia.  but in practice all this accomplishes is making you feel like not getting out of bed in the morning
