I did a search on this site and barely found anything.  So this is the thread that's any and every thing you have to say about it.  I don't wanna give any more direction to this thread than that since there's so little on these boards about it.

I'll start.

When I take 200mg it gives me a much 'headier' and 'cleaner' stimulation than caffeine.  I don't get jittery and I don't feel my heart thump, but it does clear my head, improves focus, and gives me mental energy.  However, it doesn't give me as much physical energy so I'll stick with coffee and energy tea when I wake up and before mma and weightlifting training sessions.

Taking 100mg with 2-3 measured cups of coffee actually helps smooth out the coffee and makes the comedown much easier to non-existant.  I can have my cake and eat it!

So let's hear it.  What do you know about theacrine and what have your experiences been like?

Good for mental energy but gives me REALLY tight muscles in my back and shoulders, with a side of constipation. I only use it when I need it, like today.

I also find that I eat less when I use Theacrine, probably because my mental energy is up so I don't feel that I need to eat to get energy.

Do people with heavy caffeine tolerance find that Theacrine still works? In other words, is there cross-tolerance? Seems interesting compound.

I have a heavy caffeine tolerance and I did find theacrine still works.

Whenever I up how much caffeine I take in a day, it takes about 2 weeks before I get tolerance.  I took theacrine twice a day for a month without breaks and each time was like taking it for the first time.

With caffeine, if I caffeinate throughout the day, I'm grumpy at the end of the day. Almost every time.

Another thing I like about Theacrine, it's come-down is almost nonexistent. I don't feel the comedown. I don't get angry or frustrated with the world. So that's a nice bonus.

I've taken the two together and not only do I get a good synergy of physical and mental energy, but the theacrine greatly reduces the coffee comedown.  Normally, about three hours after my morning joe I hit a wall of sluggishness and either have to eat or re-caffeinate but not so with theacrine.

Has anyone tried theacrine in combination with racetams and/or theanine?

I can say that the combination of theacrine and adrafinil is the closest to pharmaceutical stimulant medication of any legal non-script drugs.  I don't get much out of adrafinil by itself, but whole well exceeds the sum of the parts.

I took a product that contains 100 mg theacrine twice a day. Noticed some cognitive benefits, nothing spectacular, but enough to consider it somewhat beneficial stuff. I have very strong caffeine tolerance, I once took 1200 mg of caffeine in few hours and didn't really feel shit.

Caffeine over 400mg tends to act as a vasoconstrictor which is why I prefer 200-350mg pre workout otherwise it can effect your pump. I like around 250mg caffeine with 100mg theanine as it’s pretty synergistic but tolerance builds quickly.

By itself, 100mg theacrine is a somewhat low dose.  If I'm taking theacrine alone I take 200-300mg at a time.

I find theacrine to be way too strong, so I open up the capsule and pour out a small bit of the bitter powder and consume that.

I'm trying to permanently quit coffee (which makes me grumpy) so theacrine is one of my gotos.

Just started trying this out. 100 mg mild caf like effect but without the anxiety. 200 mg was much more noticable and 300 mg was the best dose for a strong stim. I feel like this is great for cycling off caf more than replacing it entirely. Full disclosure I usually take 200-500 mg of caf daily and am long overdo for getting my dose down.

Just saw methylliberine may be even better so I just ordered that to try out and compare. Anyone use this newer form?

I read theacrine is a "chromosome-damaging agent" a while back, but the article was from the 70s:  https://sci-hub.tw/1...1110(77)90010-0 This seems like something you'd want to avoid?

It's been shown to be safe in animals and humans.
