Evidence for a government driven 9 11 attack is given. If you have your arguments against this standpoint of course, just as welcome.

The rationale, from all I have heared on the topic, was most likely to get permission to go in war with Afghanistan and Iraque.
Supposedly resources come in to play (oil, heroin), but I am not sure.

Perhaps we should sign a sort of petition of some kind that we want every terrorist or war incident, to be researched thoroughly, so that no such future event can occur unsanctioned. Does anyone know of such a petition?

And by that I mean researched by independent UN researchers.

and of course for all the cover-ups of mainstream media. Media can not only deliberately alter the footage, but also in general depicts partial truths. Of course this is true for any medium, because you can not show everything. But perhaps there should be some kind of control (from UN perhaps) to assure that the truth is not distorted;I mean by showing some information, and omitting other, you generate a story significantly different from the actual events. Each channel its own distortions, serving their political agenda.
