Body repair

userx8's Photo userx8 14 May 2013

After a search through many pages, some of which are a tad bit too intricate, I have yet to find something comprehensive and concisely accessible with regards to supplements that either globally or locally focus on repairing/enhancing areas of the body.

So, in this thread post supplements/regimens which repair/heal the functions of the brain, heart, lung, liver, kidneys, pancreas -- all the essential organs. And then we shall discuss the overlapping of side effects to find the perfect anti-ageing regimen!

I had a few bouts of 2-3 month extreme drinking and smoking, I felt small pains in all my organs it seemed.. antidepressants too compounded the hurt to my liver. I have a lot of confidence in Milk thistle. When I discovered it I would take several tablets a few times per day, It stopped the pain within days.

adequate levels of protein. May sound a bit vague but avoiding going into too much detail here. Vital in cell almost all forms of cell repair and your RDA is far to low in my opinion

Keep this thread going guys please, we do need a tl;dr of the supplements forum with references to posts/threads which suggest informally/formally/factually of whether something is known to improve body part x (which can also be skin, eyes, muscle, ..., etc).

I can't seem to edit my original post, the previous post was to be an addenda clarifying the intention of this thread. I was hoping that the members of this forum would be willing to help provide a summary of what has been discussed/read from/throughout this forum, if it hasn't already been done yet (if so, please link me to this!).

Thanks!
