Preventing pycnogenol rash side effect?

StevesPetRat's Photo StevesPetRat 06 Aug 2014

Uh, the topic pretty much sums it up. I guess the rash might be due to Th1 -> Th2 immune shift. Would love to take this stuff otherwise. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks.

That's too bad... Maybe a different formulation would help.  Swanson has a generic pine bark extract that I now use instead of the far more costly Pycnogenol.  Do you use c60oo?  If not, it appears to cause a Th2->Th1 shift.  It has a huge positive effect on my eczema and lung function.
