DHT and the Brain {Area-1255}...

Tubzy's Photo Tubzy 21 Aug 2016

If you're looking for something natural then you can give Epiandrosterone a chance. It's some natural steroid, which is found in Pine Pollen among other things.

I am on Super R andro now which IMO is way better than epiandro (felt way overstimulated). I feel normal and great on Super R andro. I also take pine pollen powder too from superman herbs along with 21 test/dht boosting herbs I cycle everyday.

What do you mean by over stimulated? Like caffeine?

Kinda but like super aggressive with anxiety and some mild paranoia. If you read my blog I was taking a pretty good size dose but even when I lowered it I still got the same effects to an extent. With super R andro I'm way calmer but still have a significant increase in aggressiveness and motivation. It reminds of the same feeling of when I took superdrol (I felt like superman on that stuff)

Interesting. Believe it or not, male aggressiveness is often mediated by estrogen when it is high in conjunction with androgens. High estrogen and androgens can cause the "on edge" feeling while high androgens and low estrogen doesn't (seem to), that's not to say that estrogen's mood effect does not have some role in men.

Did you get that "teenager feeling" about others that they are flawed, as if every person you come across seems childish and physically weak? That's what androsterone and epiandrosterone seems to do with me in high dosages, but real dht doesn't.

Real dht can cause insomnia if you take it before bed but it's actually mild and it can even improve your sleep via its GABA affinity, which it did for me.

On other compounds that convert into estrogen, I still feel aggressive but not in a calm, dominant way more like aggressive in an emotional way, I guess.

Dry compounds that don't convert to estrogen the aggressiveness and dominance is way more pronounced but calming at the same time.

The effect of estrogen on dopamine and serotonin receptor and transporter levels in the brain: an autoradiography study.
Chavez C1, Hollaus M, Scarr E, Pavey G, Gogos A, van den Buuse M. (2010)

The aim of the present study was to elucidate the effect of estrogen on dopaminergic and serotonergic regulation of prepulse inhibition (PPI) by measuring its effects on the density of dopamine transporters (DAT), dopamine D(1) and D(2) receptors, serotonin transporters (SERT), serotonin-1A (5-HT(1A)) and 5-HT(2A) receptors using radioligand binding autoradiography. Three groups of female Sprague-Dawley rats were compared: sham-operated controls, untreated ovariectomized (OVX) rats and OVX rats with a 17beta-estradiol implant (OVX+E). These groups were identical to our previous prepulse inhibition (PPI) studies, allowing comparison of the results. Results showed that in the nucleus accumbens, DAT levels were 44% lower in OVX rats than in intact controls. Estrogen treatment completely reversed the effect of OVX in this brain region to levels similar to those in intact controls. Dopamine D(2) receptor density was increased in OVX rats by 28% in the nucleus accumbens and 25% in the caudate nucleus compared to intact controls. Estrogen treatment reversed this increase and, in addition, reduced dopamine D(2) receptor levels by a further 25% and 20%, respectively, compared to intact control rats. There were no differences between the groups with respect to the densities of dopamine D(1) receptors, SERT, 5-HT(1A) receptors or 5-HT(2A) receptors. These results show effects of estrogen treatment on central indices of dopaminergic, but not serotonergic function. The observed changes do not provide a direct overlap with the effects of these estrogen treatment protocols on drug-induced disruptions of PPI, but it is possible that a combination of effects, i.e. on both DAT and dopamine D(2) receptor density, is involved. These data could also be relevant for our understanding of the potential protective effect of estrogen treatment in schizophrenia.

Role of Serotonin and Dopamine System Interactions in the Neurobiology of Impulsive Aggression and its Comorbidity with other Clinical Disorders
Dongju Seo and Christopher J. Patrick (2008)

Impulsive aggression is characterized by an inability to regulate affect as well as aggressive impulses, and is highly comorbid with other mental disorders including depression, suicidal behavior, and substance abuse. In an effort to elucidate the neurobiological underpinnings of impulsive aggression and to help account for its connections with these other disorders, this paper reviews relevant biochemical, brain imaging, and genetic studies. The review suggests that dysfunctional interactions between serotonin and dopamine systems in the prefrontal cortex may be an important mechanism underlying the link between impulsive aggression and its comorbid disorders. Specifically, serotonin hypofunction may represent a biochemical trait that predisposes individuals to impulsive aggression, with dopamine hyperfunction contributing in an additive fashion to the serotonergic deficit. The current paper proposes a modified diathesis-stress model of impulsive aggression in which the underlying biological diathesis may be deficient serotonergic function in the ventral prefrontal cortex. This underlying disposition can be manifested behaviorally as impulsive aggression towards oneself and others, and as depression under precipitating life stressors. Substance abuse associated with impulsive aggression is understood in the context of dopamine dysregulation resulting from serotonergic deficiency. Also discussed are future research directions in the neurobiology of impulsive aggression and its comorbid disorders.

Dopamine and serotonin: influences on male sexual behavior
Elaine M. Hull*, John W. Muschamp, Satoru Sato (2004)

Vehicle- and DHT-treated animals had high levels of dopamine in tissue and did not copulate. In additional animals, E maintained a variable number of NOS-ir neurons in the MPN and variable copulatory ability; there were several significant partial correlations between NOS-ir and copulatory measures [98]. T and E+DHT maintained both copulatory ability and high numbers of NOS-ir neurons, whereas neither DHT nor oil vehicle maintained copulation or numbers of NOS-ir neurons.

Check this out! https://raypeatforum...osteroid.12614/

Just ordered two bottles.

Anyone know if it should be safe enough?

Of course it is safe, it's extremely mild

It's considered an illegal form of "performance enhancement" in my country LOL

I'm interested in his other supplement (11kt) but I don't really want to rely on it since they may get banned any time.

i've been using Andractim DHT Gel for the last few months and I really like the effects!

You mean you tried it years ago and used it for months or more and now you've tried it again.
