Does Nad+ help aginst sunburn?

Hello guys,
I am not a doctor so please accept my apology if i ask something stupid.
I have read that there are plans to protect astronauts form cosmic radiation by increasing there Nad+-Levels. Does anyone of you know whether there is any evidence or argument that Nad+ can protect from damage caused by solar radiation (or sunburn) as well? Would it even be helpful to raise Nad+-Levels after a long day with too much sun?
If am just curious whether it would be reasonable to bring an extra amount of Nad+-precursors when going on summer holiday.
( i am aware of the fact that normal suncream is probably easier and better).

Well sunlight damages and PARPs and SIRTs repair. Both are dependent on NAD+. So if NAD+ would be scarce in the cells you get more damage from sunlight. The logic would be that the older you get the more damaged your skin gets from sunlight and NAD+ boosting may help reducing damage. But if you NAD+ is already high not sure if it makes a difference. So play safe, lots of suncream and sure why not take NAD+ boosters.

Though not meant in anyway as an advise to follow, I made the anecdotal experience that after starting comprehensive supplementation and dietary changes 10 years ago - because of a 60% walking-disability due to a 80% blockage in my abdominal aorta bifurcation - not only could I revers the disability after 6 years, but also since didn't get sunburned. And I tested it the hard way by always having my yearly vacation since 2012 in the deepest winter (Jan-Feb) for six weeks on a South-Indian beach. Each day from about 10-12 AM and 3:30-5:30 PM on the beach. Therefore minus the ~40 min. swimming in the ocean, about 4 hrs in the sun each day without suncream. Never got burned.
