Vitamin K2 MK4 vs MK7 verdict

experimenting's Photo experimenting 11 Nov 2018

What's the final verdict here? Do we need to take both? Or just MK7, since it does all that MK4 does but at a lower dose?

My n=1 experience (and supported by masterjohn) has been that MK4 decalcifies, but MK7 prevents hypercalcemia in the first place. Thoughts?

I’ve never heard of mk4 but this was interesting

Anecdotally, when I was using Thorne's liquid Mk4 (fairly high dose), my teeth often felt incredibly slick / smooth.  While taking the innovix Mk4+Mk7 blend or jarrow's mk7, I haven't noticed this side effect.

Interesting. I'm trying k1 on its own right now. Seeing if it converts etc.
